Factory Entertainment Debuts Premium 1:6 Scale Action Figure Line at San Diego Comic-Con – AwesomeToyBlog

Home News Factory Entertainment Debuts Premium 1:6 Scale Action Figure Line at San Diego Comic-Con Pop culture collectibles company Factory Entertainment made a major splash during San Diego Comic-Con’s Preview Night, unveiling its first-ever line of premium 1:6 scale action figures. Known for its high-end prop replicas from film and television, the company is now expanding into the collectible figure space with a debut line slated for release in 2026. Convention-goers who attended Wednesday’s exclusive preview were treated to an early look at highly detailed prototypes from several iconic franchises, including Jaws, The Mummy (1999), and Battlestar Galactica. Factory Entertainment also hinted at additional properties in development, though specific titles remain under wraps. “We’re very excited to be entering the high-end action figure market,” said Jordan Schwartz, President and CEO of Factory Entertainment. “While we don’t intend to directly compete with the companies currently leading this category, our goal is to fill in some of the gaps—offering characters and licenses that haven’t been served well in the existing market, particularly ones that complement our ongoing prop replica lines.” The move marks a strategic expansion for Factory Entertainment, which has built a reputation among collectors for its meticulously crafted 1:1 and reduced-scale replicas. The new figures are expected to align with that same standard of quality and detail. Attendees of San Diego Comic-Con can visit Factory Entertainment’s booth (#2743) through July 27 to view the prototypes on display. Source link

Hasbro Marvel Legends Preview Night

The highlight of the Hasbro Legends onsite for Preview Night had to be the Sentinel Display with X-Men 97 figures. It brought back great memories of the old gigantic battle displays they used to have at Hasbro’s booth every year back in the day. Plus, it made me very glad I picked up a couple of these guys because they looked fantastic. Like this: Like Loading… Related Continue Reading Source link

BEYBLADE Unleashes New Innovations at SDCC with Stadium Reveals and Star Wars Collaboration – AwesomeToyBlog

BEYBLADE launched its San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) presence with a high-energy reveal of two brand-new, cutting-edge BEYBLADE X stadiums: the BX-32 Wide Beystadium and the BX-00 Double Xtreme Motorized Beystadium. The BX-32 Wide Beystadium introduces a bold, rectangular design that allows up to three Bladers to battle simultaneously, delivering more action and competition in every match. Meanwhile, the BX-00 Double Xtreme Motorized Beystadium elevates gameplay with a motorized center and dual XCelerator rails—one on the outer edge and one in the center—designed to launch Tops into high-speed motion, adding a new layer of unpredictability and intensity to each battle. But the excitement didn’t stop there. BEYBLADE X also expanded its popular crossover collection with Star Wars™, unveiling the Chewbacca 4-80LF vs. Stormtrooper 5-70B Multipack Set. This latest addition blends the high-stakes world of BEYBLADE with iconic characters from the Star Wars universe, offering fans a new way to connect with both franchises. SDCC 2025: Big Bad Workshop

SDCC 2025: Big Bad Workshop

I’m a huge fan of the Operation: Monster Force line from Big Bad Workshop and have enjoyed seeing pictures of the newest figures at various shows like Joe Fest, so I was stoked that I could see them in person. There was a lot of interesting figures shown off from the Naughty or Nice, Longbox Heroes, C.O.P.S., and a new line that I think will interest a lot of figure photographers, the NPCs. First off, it was great seeing all the awesome upcoming Monsterforce figures in person. I cannot wait for wave 2, especially their Frankenstein Monster, The Donner Party and they all look fantastic in person. It was also fun to see so many Fwoosh Skeletons added to the mix. I also love the female character prototypes they showed off, they have a solid power to the builds, but are very pretty too. The fans have been clamoring for a Mrs. Claus for the Naughty or Nice line and they surprised me with this non-traditional look. The six inch Longbox heroes are looking fantastic too. The Atlas figure is a Hulk-like blank base body useful for a lot of things, I’m sure. There was also a bunch of prototypes from the six inch Eagle Force line that was looking slick. There was an Action Force comic I loved that featured baddies in Mamba masks, so I’m most looking forward to the Mamba Men for another faction for my real American Heroes to fight. The The Gridiron Studios Warfare line looks to be using the excellent Monster Force military base bodies. These have a lot of bulky armor, but still move great, so I’m sure they’ll look fantastic loaded up with Gridiron Weapons. The camo pattern is pretty cool too. Gimme that Bulletproof. Edgar Allen Poe is not a person I ever thought I would need a figure of, but holy shit I’m buying this as soon as I can. I’m intrigued by what other kinds of characters would be added to this Raven Society. Finally, one of the more strangely appealing lines for me is the NPC line. Cops, crooks, priests, cheerleaders might not be the first thing that comes to mind as a must have action figure, but I cannot wait to get some of these to add to figure photos. The gangsters and robbers are a must have for super heroes. Hell, maybe you want to make a cheerleader or priest the lead of your toy story. I think I may have heard of some films or TV shows that have had success with stories about them… Like this: Like Loading… Related Continue Reading Source link

SDCC 2025: Jada Toys Preview Night

The line at the Jada booth was pretty intense most of the night, but I was able to squeeze past the exclusive buyers for a bit to look at what was on display. Jada actually has a panel tomorrow, so I expect we will see more new stuff as the show goes along. Without talking to Veebs, I cannot honestly tell you if these are new or not, but they look nice, bigger than the typical figures. The Cyberpunk Edgerunners figures are coming along nicely. I finally started watching the show and the first couple figures are a lot of fun, so I’m all in. Frosty is animated perfection. I’m going to need one of these for my Christmas decorations and my mom has a Snow Man collection that needs this addition. I’ve seen Scoob before, but seeing this pair together in person was pretty thrilling. I’m also really excited to hopefully eventually create a Scooby-Doo version of the Universal Monsters in this line. The Street Fighter line doesn’t have new characters to show, but there was interesting new stuff like T. Hawk’s eagle for his win pose and all the previously shown figures are showing progress in development that’s really exciting to see. Like this: Like Loading… Related Continue Reading Source link
