BEYBLADE X World Championship Qualifiers Add Anime Expo – AwesomeToyBlog

As the BEYBLADE X phenomenon continues to build with World Championship tournaments happening around the world, ADK Emotions NY Inc. and T-Licensing Inc. announced today that fans aged 13 years and older will have the opportunity to qualify for the BEYBLADE X World Championship finals during a special tournament for badge-holders at Anime Expo in Los Angeles. The epic tournament, sponsored by Target, will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center at Booth E-25, on July 5, 2025 starting at 10AM PST. Registration will begin at 9AM PST where the first 128 participants to arrive will be able to compete.  Participants are strongly encouraged to bring three of their own Hasbro BEYBLADE X Tops to use throughout the tournament, and a limited selection of Hasbro Tops will be available to borrow on-site. The final eight participants will be battling with three different Tops in Hasbro’s BEYBLADE X Xtreme Battle Set Beystadium.   During the electrifying tournament, Bey-fans will battle other Bladers using tops from Hasbro’s toy line for a chance to be named the National Champion, thus earning a coveted spot in the World Championship competition that is taking place at Tokyo Tower on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, and Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025. Any fan who qualifies for the final tournament will receive a fully paid trip to Tokyo to compete.   “We’re excited to take the BEYBLADE X World Championship to one of the biggest anime and pop culture events in the U.S. this summer,” said a representative from ADK Emotions NY. “With Target’s support, this tournament will unite Bey-fans in an epic atmosphere surrounded by some of BEYBLADE’s biggest fans.”  To train for the tournament, fans can find Hasbro’s latest BEYBLADE X tops, such as the Beyblade X Cobalt Dragoon 2-60C Launcher Set and the Beyblade X Soar Phoenix 9-60GF Deluxe String Launcher Set, as well as the new Clash and Carry Stadium, at Target stores now.  Looking beyond the thrilling World Championship later this year, BEYBLADE looks forward to continued celebration of its passionate community and innovative experiences designed to bring fans together across all generations in 2026 and beyond. Expressing the brand’s forward momentum, a representative from ADK Emotions NY Inc. shares, “As we look to the future, we are excited about opportunities to expand Beyblade’s reach and welcome even more Bladers into the fold.”  To stay informed around the World Championship and future BEYBLADE X updates, fans can go to Beyblade.com/worldchampionship2025 for details on additional tournaments taking place in France, Germany, UK, and more. Seismic Toys Announce Astro Boy Trick or Treat Blind Box Toys – AwesomeToyBlog

Seismic Toys in collaboration with Gums Productions, has announced a brand new partnership with the legendary Tezuka Productions to produce officially licensed Astro Boy figurines, available for pre-order right now. The figures mix Tezuka’s iconic Astro Boy with halloween-themed monsters for a unique blend of sci-fi, horror, and cuteness. “Astro Boy is such an important piece of Japanese pop culture,” explains Seismic CCO Alex Rushdy. “We’ve built something totally unprecedented, mixing famous western monsters like werewolves and vampires with the classic Japanese brand. It’s really exciting for us as fans of classic horror and Astro Boy since we were kids. It’s also exciting for us to offer a blind box product at a lower price point than our usual figures.” There are 6 figures in the line, with Astro Boy dressed as Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, a Werewolf, a Swamp Monster, and a Mummy, as well as Uran dressed as the “Sister of Frankenstein.” Additionally, rare “glow in the dark” chase variants are available with a 1/72 chance of finding one. Each figure stands approximately 5 inches tall.  The figures themselves were designed and sculpted by Seismic’s longtime collaborator Michael Lambert and promo art illustrated by the incredibly talented Linzb0t.  Astro Boy Trick or Treat ships this fall with pre-sale now available for an MSP of $19.99 per figure. Orders can be placed directly through Seismic Toys (https://www.seismictoys.com/), as well as some of your favorite toy & collectible stores. Wholesale inquiries can be made through our wholesale distributor, Disburst. (http://disburst.com/) starting June 9th. Since his first appearance in the “Captain Atom” series in “Shonen” in 1951, Atom, the 100,000-hp jet-propelled robot boy, has boasted overwhelming popularity in magazines, on television and on the big screen as the star of the major series “Astro Boy”. His character could even be said to be synonymous with Osamu Tezuka. Source link

Yo Joe June 2025 Fanstream #1
Multicon New/Blog

Yo Joe June 2025 Fanstream #1

The Hasbro team kicked off Yo Joe June 2025 properly with a Fanstream featuring name only reveals, digital renders, and new preorders. Let’s talk about it! They started the show with a preview of the figures from the Cold Slither Box Set and they were looking very nice. It’s impressive to see them lined up together, though I have to agree with Tony that they need a riser for the drum kit. That will be easy to do with some insulation foam. This one will be SDCC exclusive available at the show with leftovers online afterwards. I’m still dreading the price reveal on this one! The Name Only reveals for this stream were the Desert Viper and Pet Scorpion and the Steel Corps Sentry w/ Defense Post (pictured below). I’m assuming the defense post will be a joe-themed repaint of the recent Cobra fortification, but they could surprise us with a modern take on the old outpost defender playset. Hmm. Looking at it again, I guess the Cobra fortification is kind of a modern take on the outpost defender. They re-showed the render reveal for the A.W.E. Striker but talked a bit about some of the features including a removeable back seat and roll cage, rubber tires, turning wheels, opening tool box, and radio w/commo cord. Sounds good, but I need to see it from some different angles, so hopefully it will be a physical model at one of the later fanstreams this month. No indication of the cost, but Lenny said it’s pretty big, so I’m thinking VAMP/Stinger territory. I’ve been hearing this rumored for a while, so it’s nice to see the render of this legacy police officer. Looks to me like he re-uses a bunch of Law and Order pretty effectively. I do really like the two swappable heads for variety, but I don’t love that it makes them have to do the under-armor look on the rolled up sleeves. I think these will make great general swat and riot cops, but less effective as general beat cops with all the military gear. That said, cops are unfortunately looking more and more like soldiers every day. The coffee cup inclusion is pretty funny, though it’s a missed opportunity to get some Dreadnok-ready chocolate-covered donuts in the line with this guy first. The Sarge and Mercer two-pack looks nice, I especially like that they re-used Heavy Duty parts to make a different look for the Sarge in desert gear. Mercer does look a little dinky next to Sarge, but I guess I’ve gotten used to hulk-sized Mercer from Skybound. I just hope that vest is a different piece from the belt, or his ab crunch will be pretty useless. The Slice and Dice two pack is something we’ve been seeing in leaked parts from overseas for a while, but it’s great to see the final deco. I especially like Slice’s scorpion inspired alternate mask and that the extra hat can also work as a shield. I think it was pretty clever to bring the trim colors from Slice onto Dice for more armor swapping compatibility, though I didn’t order extras to army build. This two-pack is pulse exclusive and went up at 10AM Pacific today. Keeping with the Ninja Force theme, deluxw Budo went up for pre-order on most sites today at 10 as well. I love that there are two full sets of armor and they can also mix and match. The removeable top knot takes me back to the Articulated Icons figures and their Samurai gear, so you know I’m pitting Budo against Fumetsu and friends when he arrives. I do wish the shoulder pads attached to the arms rather than the chest armor, but it still looks nice in the photos. Col. Hawk and the MMS also went up for sale today at 10 as a fan channel and Amazon release. We kinda knew this on was coming when they released the HMS, but I love the look of it in the old school military green with all of those bright white decals. I know most fans think of the bomber jacket Hawk as their Hawk, but Original 13 Hawk has also been a big want for me, so I’m stoked to finally get him. I’m also a big fan of the Hama comics and this Hawk is more in line with what we saw in the majority of those early comics. We are getting pretty close to completing that original group, so what I really want to see this month is Flash! Finally, Emily did mention that they were planning on starting their next Joe Haslab before the end of the month and made a lot of snow puns while doing so (cool, chill, frosty), so I’m thinking it has to be the Snow Cat. I wouldn’t have thought they’d need a Haslab for that vehicle, so I’m curious at the size, features, and costs they have planned. Hey, I’ll take a lower-priced Haslab for sure, but it does feel a little to me like if they do the Snow Cat as a Haslab, they might want to do Thunder Machine that way too and I am desperate for that to hit sooner rather than later. They did say that they will be back for more this month, so be prepared for more Joe goodness this June! Like this: Like Loading… Related Continue Reading Source link
