They’ve been teasing the toys, but the big news at Playmates was the debut of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers toys. With a refresh of the classic show on the way, including toy featuring stop motion animated shorts the Power Rangers are set to retake the hearts and minds of kids all ages. The toys will launch mid-year; with various size classes and vehicles set for release. Check the toys out below.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Turtles continue to be a mainstay of the Playmates line – look for new “reissues” of classic toys and playsets as well as new figures and roleplay items in the current aesthetic.
Stuntman Stu
This is a new line being launched by Playmates, the idea is there’s a midwest guy who can’t say no to a dare…but he also seems unable to complete them as well. Think Evil Kinevil, but failure is the expectation.
Monsterverse
Who doesn’t love giant monsters fighting eachother. Look for new battle action figures as well as new electronic figures.
